Sewing to Help, Helping to sew!

Scrubs for Cambridgeshire started as community organization in April 2020 attending to an

emergency during the first Covid-19 pandemic when health care workers were in real need of scrubs and other much need fabric-based items such as surgical hat, bereavement bags, laundry bags, much more. At one point we have more than 300 volunteers including sewers, drivers, fabric cutters, coordinators and supporters in general. Our fantastic Volunteers still using their sewing skills to continue supporting our health care workers, and other fantastic causes than need our help. Let's us know if you or your organization need any help with your project, contact us if there is anything we can do to help the community with the power of our sewing skills.

We will try our best to help!

WHAT DO WE DO?

Using Sewing Skills for our Community

We are a group volunteers that loves to help our community using our sewing skills, Our  dear volunteers meet up once or twice a week at our hub but some of them prefer sew from their own home. No sewers are very welcome too as there is always something to do at the hub... We also offer workshops for those who would like to learn how to sew.

Coffee, tea, biscuits, a good laugh and good atmosphere are always available at our hub.

We work hard but we have fun at the same time.

If you would like to be part of our team of volunteers or have a project that will help the community,  contact us at gioscrubsforcambridge@gmail.com
